Beloved siblings in Christ,
How are you and your loved ones during this time? I want you to know that you have been on my heart and in my prayers. The pastors and leaders have been deep in discussions about how we can keep everyone as safe as possible as we ride out this period. We will continue with our precautionary measures and have increased our cleaning and sanitisation procedures at our church premises.
We will continue taking temperature readings for everyone who will be coming this Sunday
We will request anyone who is showing symptoms such as runny nose, coughing and breathing difficulties to return home
We will be providing hand sanitizers and masks at the door for those who might need them
We will be requesting all attendees to provide your contact number in case there is a need for contact tracing
We will be having Sunday School this week but we will be monitoring the situation closely to see what’s the best option for the following weeks
If you are not feeling well, please stay at home and rest. If you are rostered for ministry this Sunday, please don’t feel bad about not being able to turn up. Do let your ministry lead/pastor know beforehand and we will try our best to help cover each other’s duties.
If you have had travel history to mainland China in the past 14 days, we would appreciate it if you do not attend the service this Sunday for the safety of everyone.
We are also looking at the possible scenarios and alternatives should regular Sunday services become inadvisable. One possibility is live-streaming our services and we have an ad-hoc team working on this currently. However, we do need more help in this area so if you have some knowledge of audio-visual streaming and are willing to volunteer your assistance, please email Daniel at info@freecomchurch.org
We know that together we can trust God to lead us in this time, as we continue to live out our identity as children of God, bringing out the God-flavours and God-colors in this world.
May God’s love and presence continue to surround you and your loved ones!
Shalom,
Pauline
