Dear friends,
As we approach the Holy Triduum, we move from the upper room, to Calvary, to the empty tomb.
They are interconnected and each tell of the different aspects of the story of God’s love for us.
We will be observing Maundy Thursday by remembering Jesus’ last meal with his friends in the upper room, and doing what Jesus had instructed John 13:14-15 “Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.”
For Good Friday, we will be doing a Readers Theatre interspersed with reflective worship that takes us through the Mark Passion Narrative.
And on Easter Sunday, we will celebrate resurrection as we reflect on the empty tomb as we welcome new members into our community.
May you join us on this reflective journey together.
Shalom,
miak
