Dear FCC family,
The news of the two shooting incidents in the US broke my heart.
It may seem like something that is happening on the other side of the planet, and we have little in connection with it – but we are all interconnected. We are all affected as more and more people get drawn into consuming media that perpetuates and reinforces their biases and prejudices, fueling hate and fear.
On social media, voices get amplified – the good and the bad. How do we participate in the healing of the world? How do we live as peacemakers, healers, restorers?
How do we bring about shalom and God’s kin-dom instead? How is God inviting us to participating to make a world where “there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever. (Rev 22:5)?
