Dear siblings-in-Christ,
Since the beginning of 2022, have you found time to be still? Or has the beginning of 2022 (and even 2021) been a frenetic time where you are just busy, busy, busy? Have you been overwhelmed?
It is important that we learn to slow down. It is ok to. It is ok not to be ok. Do not let the ways of the world dominate your life – know that you are beloved, and there is nothing you need to do to deserve it. Just be.
And when you slow down, i pray that you find peace and calmness, so you see things more clearly. Too often, when we are not calm, we are like the surface of the lake – we don’t see much. It is only when the lake is calm and the surface is still that we can look beneath the surface.
So find time to be still and commune with God.
