Dear friends,
Last week, as we celebrated our 16th Anniversary, we also heard stories of different chapters of our journey.
As Br Geoffrey Tristam writes:
“The journey – whether it be the journey of Abraham or Moses, Jesus’ disciples or medieval pilgrims – has never been simply about traveling across physical space toward a holy site. Every outward journey of pilgrimage always has as its true goal an inner journey of transformation.”
We kick off the next sermon series that will bring us through to 2020 this Sunday – Pilgrimage.
What does it mean to go on a journey with God? When Jesus beckoned his disciples “Come, follow me,” is Jesus beckoning us to do the same today?
Join us as fellow pilgrims.
Shalom,
miak
