Dear FCC family,
As part of our ministry to the community, we have been donating groceries to T-Project through T-mart. This year has been hard on everyone – and it is hardest on those who are at the margins. These groceries are the items the beneficiaries have asked for – from toothpaste, toothbrushes, to tea and coffee. The beneficiaries are not just the residents of the T-shelter, but also other needy transgender folks. This is how we have cared for the least among us.
The donation drive is closing this Sunday, and there are still items that are needed. Thank you to all those who have contributed so far! For those who have yet to do so, please consider contributing to this drive. You can find out more at fcc.la/t-mart
If you, like myself, would like to contribute, but will not order enough for free delivery – you can join the group buy option where one of the volunteers will pool all the orders together and make the order on our behalf. All you need to do is select the group buy option and they will reach out to you with more details.
There is still quite a lot of items needed, and i really hope we can fulfill all the requests!
