Dear friends,
It is easy to lose track of time during this circuit breaker period, isn’t it? While working from home, it is not easy to differentiate between weekdays and weekends. Time seems to be either compressed and stretched out – we are now in the middle of May. And hopefully, in another 2 weeks, the circuit breaker measures will start to ease.
This Sunday, with along with many people all over the world, we are commemorating IDAHOBiT – International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.
While we often talk about phobia against LGBTQ folks, there is also our own internalised phobia. And this Sunday, Pauline and I want to tell the LGBTQ stories in our community and how many of us overcome fear through love. “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18)
Shalom,
