It has been a hectic week with Prof Graham Ward’s trip here, but it is a rich time of learning and interacting with him.
Gary puts it:
“A few of us welcomed Graham over dinner yesterday evening. He shared with us his heart for a theology that moves people to a place to work for human dignity, what an engaged systematic theology is, the tensions between orthodoxy and evangelicalism, the role of religion in education, the public sphere and culture, and much more.
We are blessed by his erudition and passion. He’s also kind and witty. We are blessed to have him here and we can make a step forward together if Christians especially outside of FCC attend the sessions. Tonight’s talk hosted by IRO is at capacity already but there is still room for tomorrow and we are preparing for an overflow area this Sunday. Please find the invites u can forward on!”
Today’s talk at Yale-NUS was more a sermon than a lecture to me. Come and hear him this Sunday!
