Last Sunday, Pauline asked “What does God want for us?” and “What does God want from us?”
I want to build on that and explore further – how that entwines with bearing fruit. (Bear with me/ us about all the horticultural metaphors)
Bearing fruit isn’t the goal of our faith. It is the natural progression of being rooted in good soil – sustained, nourished and nurtured. It is a sign of flourishing.
Join me this Sunday exploring being rooted in a love that is mutual, life-giving and sustaining – a love that bears fruit not through exploitation or obligation, but through relationship with God and with one another.
