Dear friends,
Last week, i received an email that moved me deeply. i asked for permission to share it – because it resonates a lot with our value of being “relational.”
That person wrote, “I am done with denying myself a place of belonging because I feel ashamed of myself or guilty for being who I am. I want to be okay with myself and I want to belong somewhere. I guess what I am saying is that I really would like to call FCC home.”
What does it mean to call FCC home? How do we live out what it means to live together, love together, lead together?
We say “we see a church where people come together intentionally on a journey to “do life” together, where people can be authentic, where people are prioritised over programmes and performance, where people grow, learn, share, cry and laugh together.” How does that look like?
How does that look like? Come join us as we walk each other towards growth and wholeness in Christ. See you on Sunday!
Shalom,
miak
