Dear friends,
In this season of Lent, as we reflect on tending – how have you been?
How have you been, in the midst of what is happening in the world – as instability, violence, division. disaster fill the news? Perhaps you are also struggling with many things going on in your life. Perhaps you are grateful for your situation. Very likely, it is a mixed bag.
I pray that this Lent, we find time to anchor ourselves – to connect with God, knowing that even in the storm, we can be calm and still, embraced by the love of God. And in the connectedness, may be hear God’s invitation for us to be fruitful and participate in God’s continuing work manifesting God’s kin-dom here on earth.
I came across this inspirational quote recently:
Diversity is God’s creation
Equity is God’s justice
Inclusion is God’s family.
May the fruits we bear be pleasing to God.
See you this Sunday!
Shalom,
miak
