Dear friends,
There are times in life we find ourselves lost. Perhaps we have not consulted a map, thinking that the destination we are heading to would be easy to find – and then on arrival, discover that the layout of the place is not as simple (or logicial) as we thought. Or we read the map wrong, and missed a turn or went down the wrong street. To get back on track, we needed to stop, take a look at our map, and get our bearings and reorient ourselves.
But what happens when we feel lost? Or when we are lost in the figurative sense and not the literal sense. Like we have lost direction in life?
Gary shared last week about Prof W. Paul Jones’ concept of 5 different theological worlds, and spoke about our core needs being reflected in our obsessio – questions that are at the heart of who we are. When we find moments and experiences that answers those questions, and meet those needs, those moments are epiphania – ephiphanies.
I would like to dive deeper to explore how that connects to being lost, and finding our way.
Join us this Sunday!
Shalom
