Dear friends,
After the season of Advent, gestating hope, peace, joy and love, all things come to fullness in the coming of Christ. But that’s not the end of the story. Just like Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year, Christmas is also only part of the beginning.
So even as we close the year with the last Sunday service of 2024, we begin another year, another journey. What’s next, you may ask.
Christmas is as much about how the Word became flesh 2000 years ago, as it is how the Word takes root within us. But it also requires us to nurture the Word within us.
As we look ahead into 2025, we begin a journey – and like the wise ones, we are seeking to follow that star that guides us towards Christ.
