Dear friends,
We are approaching our anniversary in two weeks’ time! We would be celebrating our anniversary service as part of our current series “This is Worship” on 13 October 2024.
In our faith tradition, those who have come before us have celebrated festivals remembering how God has been faithful to them, liberating them from slavery, taking on flesh to become like one of us. As they celebrate, they tell stories so that future generations will remember.
We too tell stories as we celebrate. We tell stories of how God has journeyed with us as a community, and we also tell our personal stories of how God has walked with us as individuals.
We would be catering lunch so we can continue the celebrations fellowshipping together over a meal, and do invite your friends to join us to “come and see,” and perhaps they may find what they are looking for (John 1:38-39).
