This Sunday, following Pauline’s two-part sermon on Kintsugi, Gary will speak on one thing that will invariably happen in communities – conflict. In the past two weeks, Pauline shared about how kintsugi as a metaphor for how mending brokenness – openly, intentionally – can overcome shame and demonstrate God’s way of loving. Gary will be exploring that further, looking at conflict and brokenness in community and how we can lean into it to grow and build community as opposed to how we usually think about conflict.
