Dear friends,
Some people may be surprised as I tackle “prayer” in the sermon series “Faithfully?” What is it about prayer that we need to learn more about? Isn’t it something we already do often?
In 2021, “Learning to Pray: A Guide for Everyone” by Father James Martin was published. I have to say – it is really a guide for everyone! It speaks to everyone – whether you are a new believer or someone who has gone to seminary like myself.
So this Sunday i want to share a little from the book – and i hope that whether you are someone who is exploring the faith, or someone who has been Christian for a long time, you will learn something new about prayer, and that it will help your prayer life, and deepen your relationship with God.
