Dear FCC family,
We have been fed the idea that there are two types of people – the good guys and the bad guys. And usually, we think we are the good guys. But none of us are perfect, and we all fall short, one time or another.
Scandals came out in the news, one after another. While I believe that wrongdoers should be held accountable, I also wonder – would we do things differently if we were in their shoes? Can we say we are paragons of virtue, and unable to do wrong? That we would not be seduced or corrupted by power?
David is preaching this Sunday on the parable of the weeds and wheat – and as he shared with me what he would be talking about, i think it is a timely reminder for all of us.
