Dear FCC family,
The past couple of weeks have seen more conversations around racism here in Singapore because of several incidents that have happened. Racism is often a topic that is the elephant in the room. It is not an easy topic to deal with, but deal with it we must. Rather than shying away from authentic conversation, i believe we need to be willing to be challenged, uncomfortable, so that we are able to listen and hear – what people’s experiences of racism are, and how God wants to transform us. It isn’t as simple as being colour blind – it requires more from us.
How do we, as a church, approach racism? How can the Bible help us along in addressing racism?
Join us this Sunday!
Shalom,
