I am so excited that our 21st anniversary is approaching in a week’s time!!
FCC 21st Anniversary Service

This year, we will be celebrating our anniversary service on 13 October 2024. As we usually do during our anniversary services, we will celebrating baptisms, rededications, and the welcoming of new members as we weave together stories of our past, present and future. We will also be catering lunch so do stay and invite old and new friends for a fun time of catching up and fellowship!
In our faith tradition, those who have come before us have celebrated festivals remembering how God has been faithful to them, liberating them from slavery, taking on flesh to become like one of us. As they celebrate, they tell stories so that future generations will remember.
We too tell stories as we celebrate. We tell stories of how God has journeyed with us as a community, and we also tell our personal stories of how God has walked with us as individuals.
This Sunday, join me as we explore how reimagining is worship, and how this applies in our lives and in our church as we follow God’s leading for the way ahead.
