Under the auspices of FCC, SafeHaven is organising the doublebill screening of the two documentary films – 1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted a Culture and 牧者(The Shepherds) this Saturday, 18 May 2024, to commemorate IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia & Transphobia) at The Projector at Cineleisure.
Ticket sales are a little slow but I trust that God will bring the right people to attend each screening. We pray that these films will reach the hearts of those who come, and that the Spirit of God will speak to each one of us through these two films.
The director of 1946, Sharon “Rocky” Roggio, and Ed Oxford, who appeared in the film, will be here in Singapore for the Asian premiere of this film, and we are delighted to be hosting a Q&A with Rocky after the screening.
Do get your tickets if you haven’t already, and invite your friends too! You can get them at http://fcc.li/SafeHaven. Tickets are at $15 for each show, and we have also set aside some tickets as “Pay as you can” in line with our stance that our activities should be accessible to everyone.
