Dear FCC family,
Isaiah 9:2 says:
The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who lived in a land of deep darkness—
on them light has shined.
In this season of Advent, we prepare our hearts as we prepare the way to welcome the Light of the World.
How is your heart as we arrive at the final month of 2023? Some of us may be tired, some may be excited, or some may be nonchalant. Whatever the state of your heart is, I want to invite you to pause and take a breath. Take some time to be present to yourself, to God, and to this moment. How would you like to experience Christmas this year?
My prayer is that we will all rediscover the joy and wonder of Christmas as we prepare the way for Christ to be reborn in all our hearts once more.
