Dear FCC family,
As we enter into the last two months of 2023, how are you doing? Perhaps it’s a busy time for you as the work year is closing out. Maybe you’ve had a challenging year and a part of you feels tired. I’m not sure about you but it’s been a challenging year for me as I entered into my third year at seminary doing my MDiv in Ministerial Leadership. I now have more in-the-middle-of-the-night classes due to changes in the course delivery format, and I had to make some adjustments. But overall, things are good and I am thankful.
In the midst of our busy and demanding lives, I wonder what is life-giving for you? Jesus said, “I came that they might have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10) Are you living this abundant life that Jesus promised? And are your words, actions, and presence life-giving for others?
We want to be a faith community that understands and lives out what it means to be life-giving. But first, it begins with us.
Come join us this Sunday to find out more!
Pauline
