Dear FCC family,I am thankful for all of you who showed up for Pink Dot last Saturday. Some of you were serving at the community tents and some in various other capacities. Others turned up just in time to form the dot. The theme of this year’s Pink Dot is Family and I am grateful for chosen family, including each one of you who help make up the FCC family.
As we endeavour to walk each other towards growth and wholeness in Christ, I know it’s not always easy because this process requires courage, vulnerability, trust and compassion. But I am heartened by my conversations with our leaders and members because I can see how everyone is trying their best to be open to growth and challenges.
So as we continue on our sermon series, Wholeheartedly, my prayer is that as a community, we will grow more wholehearted in the way we live and love. I pray we will learn to embrace ourselves and one another more fully as we grow in the likeness of Christ.
Join us this Sunday as we explore what it means to be Wholeheartedly Authentic and Free.

We are also co-hosting
My Family Matters with Oogachaga and several other organizations to spend an afternoon with parents and loved ones of lgbtq+ family members. If you know anyone who might be interested, please RSVP at bit.ly/OCmyfamilymatters by 28 June 2023.
Shalom,
Pauline
