Dear FCC family,
Too often we take for granted how we witness people responding to God’s call. We see the “Here I am! Send me!”
not realising that there is always a journey of doubt, of discernment, of struggle. Even with something as extraordinary as a burning bush, Moses hesitated, and even tried to deflect the call to someone else.
Last Sunday, we prayed for Yanmei, Airi and Kohei who are heading off to continue their theological education – taking the plunge into uncertainty and learning to trust in God’s invitation. Today, Pauline is heading off to the US for her intensive class sessions in Claremont School of Theology. They are all responding to God’s call – and that is but one way God’s call look like. How does God’s call look like for you?
