Dear FCC family,
Hope you are all staying well and safe.
Last weekend, I decided to pre-record my sermon because I was in contact with multiple people who later tested positive for covid. After discussing with the team, I decided it’s safer for everyone if I pre-record the sermon instead of delivering it in person. And I’m so glad I did because on Sunday afternoon, my throat starting feeling scratchy, and I tested positive on Monday. Thank you for all your prayers and concern. So far my symptoms are relatively mild and I am thankful. Just feeling tired and trying to rest as much as I can.
I was slated to preach again this Sunday so the moment I tested positive, I reached out to Gary who very kindly said he’s happy to preach instead. I am really thankful for him, as well as for the rest of the leaders and volunteers who make church possible. In fact, each of us are part of the Body of Christ, and we each play a role in making church possible. And I give thanks to God for you!
May God’s presence and peace be with you every moment of every day.
Join us this Sunday as we continue on our series, Speaking Differently.
Shalom,
Pauline
