Dear FCC family,
How are you doing? How is your relationship with God recently?
The other day, I was reading this poem, Let Your God Love You, and I think it is a timely reminder for all of us. If you’ve been feeling distant or disconnected from God and/or community, I encourage you to slow down and let this poem speak to you.
Let Your God Love You
Edwina Gateley
Be silent.
Be still.
Alone.
Empty
Before your God.
Say nothing.
Ask nothing.
Be silent.
Be still.
Let your God look upon you.
That is all.
God knows.
God understands.
God loves you
With an enormous love,
And only wants
To look upon you
With that love.
Quiet.
Still.
Be.
Let your God—
Love you.
What truly matters in your life? This Sunday, we continue on our sermon series, “Speaking Differently: What Truly Matters” and I hope you can join me as we reflect on this important question together.
Shalom,
Pauline
