Dear siblings-in-Christ,
We are in the middle of Holy Week, which is known as the most sacred time of the year for Christians. This is why we have additional services throughout the week, each commemorating the significant moments that led to Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Join us on this journey through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Please note that Maundy Thursday is a fully in-person service and there will not be an online broadcast as it is meant to be experienced in person. We are commemorating the Last Supper and we will be conducting the washing of feet, which is optional and by invitation. We hope you will join us on Thursday evening to experience this special service.
Our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services will be offered in a hybrid format in the same way as our usual Sunday worship services. As it is hard for us to estimate how many will be attending in person for Easter Sunday, we request that you register on the FCC attendance registration app so that we can gauge the expected attendance and prepare adequately for it. We will be baptising as well as welcoming new members so please join me in welcoming our siblings.
I look forward to sharing this Holy Week journey with you.
Shalom,
Pauline
