Dear friends,
How has the start of 2022 been for you? 2022 began with two weeks of intensive classes for me as I began my second semester of classes for my Master of Divinity in Ministerial Leadership. It has been a very expansive and rewarding journey so far and I am immensely grateful. At the same time, it has also been hectic and demanding juggling work and studies, and there are days I feel drained of time and energy.
What about you? What do you do when you feel drained? How do you replenish your body, mind, heart and soul? Perhaps this is a good time to remind yourself of the practices that help to care for and nourish you. Worship music has often spoken to my heart and today, I was reminded of the lyrics in the song, Here I Bow:
How great the love
How strong the hand that holds us
Beautiful, so beautiful
So here I bow to lift You high
Jesus be glorified
In all things, for all my life
I am Yours, forever Yours
God here and now, be lifted high
Right here and now, be glorified
God of Heaven and Earth
God who brought me back to life
I am Yours, forever Yours
May this be our prayer that here and now, we remember the God who loves us and to whom we belong. May we desire to reflect Jesus in all we do and are.
Join us this Sunday as we continue on our sermon series, Home Is The Way — Coming Home.
Shalom,
Pauline
