Dear friends,
We marked the beginning of the Advent season last Sunday with the theme
of Hope during our special World AIDS Day service. It was moving to hear
the sharing by our panelists and learning how we, as a community, can
make a difference. I hope you are still wearing your red ribbons and
having the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations this week.
There is much excitement and anticipation as we look forward to
celebrating Christmas and other than preparing for parties, presents and
feasting, this should also be the season of preparing our hearts. As we
enter the second week of Advent, join us this Sunday as we reflect on
what it means to celebrate the coming of Christ into our world and how
we are invited to prepare the way.
Lastly, I would like to gently remind you to respond to the FCC
membership renewal email that was sent out to you yesterday. Please
