Dear FCC family,
As we approach the third Sunday of Advent, I wonder how this year has been for you, and my hope is that we can experience a meaningful Christmas season together as we close out 2021. As you reflect on your stories of struggle and gratitude going through this year, please join us in our Advent Anthology by sharing your story with us! You can email your stories to me at info@freecomchurch.org as we would love to hear from you, and let our lives speak and encourage one another.
Our FCC Christmas Service this year will be on Sat, 25 Dec 2021, 10:30am. Please come and celebrate Christmas with us in person if you can. As announced last Sunday, we will be having a Christmas Treat Exchange during the Christmas Service. We are inviting everyone to bring 1 to 3 edible Christmas Treats and leave them on the “exchange” island at the pantry (this is to cater for visitors who may not be aware of the treats exchange). You can buy or even make your own treats to show off your baking skills. 🙂 For homemade treats, please package them into individual portions and label them if they contain peanuts.
This season of Advent – may we remember that love is why Jesus came and God is still pouring out love and light into our lives even today.
Join us this Sunday, as we ponder on what it means to be joyful in the midst of challenges on the third Sunday of Advent.
Joyfully,
Pauline
