Dear siblings,
We are approaching the end of the year and Christmas is just round the corner! Our Christmas theme for 2020 is GIVE — a reminder to give of ourselves just as Christ gave of himself to be with us.
2020 has been an unusual year, to say the least. But we are grateful for God’s goodness that we can look forward to celebrating Christmas together. We will be having our Christmas service on 25 December 2020, and more details will be shared this coming Sunday.
As part of our initiative to GIVE, we are organizing a special donation drive for the elderly recipients of our regular T-Mart food donations. This Christmas, we will be gifting small household appliances to 13 elderlies and you can choose to sponsor as individuals or CGs. We will also be preparing small Christmas gifts/cards for them and other elderlies, eg. Commonwealth, etc. If you or your CG is interested in sponsoring an item, please email us at info@freecomchurch.org
For the final instalment of our current sermon series, A Better Normal, we will be looking at radical hospitality — how God first welcomes us home, regardless of who we are, and from that safe place, we are called to welcome in difficult experiences and different people.
Shalom,
Pauline
