Dear FCC Family,
We are celebrating FCC’s 17th anniversary this Sunday!! And this year, it’s especially eventful because it’s also the first time we’ll be welcoming congregants through the church doors after many months of not being able to worship together in our physical space. Given the current safe distancing advisories, we are moving into a new era of hybrid services where we will be gathering onsite and online as one people of God.
I am very thankful for our teams of volunteers who are helping to make this possible, and I ask for your continued patience and understanding as we try our best to sort out the kinks as we go along. Thank you to all who registered your interest to attend service onsite this Sunday. You will receive an email confirmation if you managed to get a seat. For those who didn’t, rest assured that you have been placed on the priority list for next Sunday, and we are looking forward to seeing you.
For those who are interested in joining us for worship at One Commonwealth in the coming weeks, please join our WhatsApp Broadcast List by sending your name to +65 9366 3818 to receive timely updates. Our services will continue to be streamed online so whether you are joining us onsite or online, we hope we can worship together intentionally and meaningfully.
This week, we will be celebrating God’s goodness and faithfulness as we share the joy of baptising six of our siblings and officially welcoming new members into our fold. As I was writing this bulletin, the familiar hymn reverberated in my soul:
Great is Thy faithfulness
Great is Thy faithfulness
Morning by morning new mercies we see
All we have needed Thy hand have provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, God, unto us
Shalom,
Pauline
