Dear friends,
About 40 of us from FCC were in Taipei last weekend for the IQACC conference that is supported by Amplify, and we also celebrated the 30th anniversary of Tong Kwang Church with our siblings from all over Asia. It was a moving and inspiring time as we exchanged stories, worshipped together, learnt from one another, and nurtured old and new bonds.
One of my favourite moments was serving Communion together with other pastors, and witnessing the growing numbers of queer Asian woman pastors from Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Philippines and Singapore.
We were also grateful to catch up with Ik Q, who brought 2 other leaders with him from Rainbow Stream in Thailand. There are many other stories we’d love to share with you from the conference, and I hope we can do so in the weeks to come.
This Sunday, we are delighted to welcome Pastor CJ from +EVO as our guest preacher. She and her team were also with us in Taipei, and it was such an encouragement to have affirming friends from Singapore at a regional conference like this.
