We enter into the season of Advent this Sunday as we prepare for the arrival of the Christ child. The season of Advent marks the beginning of a new liturgical or church year, and our new Advent series is called Roots. This is in line with our theme and focus for 2026: Roots – growing deeper and wider in our foundations, nourishment and connections.
We are delighted to have Alvin preaching this Sunday, and he will be exploring what it means to be “Rooting in Promise” in this first week of Advent.
