Dear friends,
You may have heard from Miak that I was in the U.S. attending my graduation ceremony at Claremont School of Theology last week. I want to thank you for all your prayers, love and support over the past few years as I tried my best to balance my studies and ministry. I was very surprised to find out during the ceremony that I was receiving four awards as they didn’t tell us beforehand. But I am deeply grateful, humbled, and proud at the same time. It has truly been such an expansive and life-giving journey, and I give thanks to God for everyone who has been a part of this!
This week, we continue on our sermon series on the book of Acts, and we will be diving into the account of the life and martyrdom of Stephen. Stephen died because he spoke truth to the powers of his day. What does it mean for us to be speaking truth to power today?
Come join us this Sunday!
Shalom,
Pauline
