In this post-Easter season, we are embarking on a new preaching series called The Disciples. For those who like book studies, you may enjoy this one as we will be tracing the book of Acts as we explore themes like radical inclusion and hospitality, liberation and resistance to empire, the ongoing movement of the Spirit beyond boundaries, our evolving understanding of faith and community, and the continuing mission of the Church.
So come join us this Sunday as we wait alongside the disciples for the Spirit’s arrival and experience the birth of a radically inclusive movement, not just a church.
Also, I am excited about our upcoming church retreat that is being held next weekend from 10-12 May in Penang. For those who are unable to join us for the retreat, please be informed that there will be NO on-site church service on Sunday, 11 May 2025 at One Commonwealth. We will have our usual on-line service broadcasted on our YouTube channel.
