Dear friends,We began the season of Lent yesterday with Ash Wednesday and this will lead us towards Holy Week. Lent is the season of retreat, reflection and renewal, and this year we focus on TEND in the hopes that we can thrive as Christians in solitude and in community.
Lent is that sacred invitation to get real with ourselves and with God. It’s not about reaching some state of holy perfection, nor is it about proving our spiritual worth. Lent is about remembering what is already true: that we are dust and to dust we shall return — and yet, in that dust, God is still planting something.
Come join us this Sunday as we begin a new sermon series, TEND, and let’s slow down collectively as we witness and participate in the work of healing and change that God is doing in all of us.
