Dear friends,
There are a lot of things coming up and i am really excited about them!
First – coming at the end of the month, Rev Ouyang will be conducting a bilingual session “Reading the Bible Requires Using Our Brains” on Friday, 31 March at 7pm.
Then, we are co-hosting an interfaith Iftar (a Muslim breaking of fast during Ramadan) with Quasa, a Singapore-based LGBTQ+ Muslim support & advocacy organisation on Saturday, 1st April from 6-8pm. You can sign up at https://fcc.li/interfaithiftar
Following that, on 2nd April, we are having a immersive worship for our ACE (After Church Event) after the Palm Sunday Service from 1 to 2.30pm.
We would be having the Maundy Thursday service at 7.30pm on 6th April and the Good Friday service at 10.30am on 7th April. The Maundy Thursday service is an experiential service commemorating the last supper and Jesus washing the feet of the disciples and so it would only be in-person. The Good Friday service would be hybrid like our Sunday services.
And that will bring us to the Easter Sunday service on 9th April. We would be conducting baptism and inducting new members into FCC during that service. For those who are interested in getting baptised and / or becoming a member of FCC, please sign up at https://fcc.li/baptism by Friday 24 March.
Finally, the registration for our retreat in Batam from 2-4 June is up! You can sign up at https://fcc.li/church-retreat
Whew! That’s a lot going on – and i look forward to your participation!
Shalom,
miak
