Dear friends,
As I was praying and reflecting on Prayer 2.0 for this Sunday, this old song came to mind:
Make my life a prayer to you
I wanna do what you want me to
No empty words and no white lies
No token prayers, no compromise
I wanna shine the light you gave
Through your son you sent to save us
From ourselves and our despair
It comforts me to know you’re really there
I wanna die and let you give
Your life to me so I might live
And share the hope you gave me
The love that set me free
We all know prayer is important but how many of us struggle to pray regularly? Over the past few weeks, the Holy Spirit has been leading me to pray more deeply for our church and congregation. I sense that we are at the cusp of something and perhaps this is a good season for us to rediscover together why prayer is important and how we can truly live out lives of prayer? Come join us.
