Broken.
Broken systems, broken equipment, broken communication, broken promises. Broken relationships.
Since the beginning of 2019, it feels like God has been bringing to our attention various areas of brokenness in our life as a faith community. And a few of these areas have been broken for some time. Perhaps it’s time for us to listen and allow God to lead us into the change and growth that is needed. All of us have experienced what it’s like to feel broken. We know God often works in the midst of our brokenness to birth something new and beautiful.
As we prepare to enter the season of Lent, we will be starting our new sermon series “Broken” this Sunday. Let us incline our ears and hearts to the whispers and moving of the Spirit of God.
