This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and marks Jesus’ journey into Jerusalem, and the beginning of Holy Week. While people lined the streets shouting Hosanna, Jesus knew this journey would be one marked with suffering.
Too often we jump quickly from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, without journeying through Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. We avoid the stillness and silence because it makes us uncomfortable. We avoid talking about suffering, and we avoid talking about death.
This year, we want to invite you to join us to experience Holy Week anew, and see how radical is the love of God – from Palm Sunday, to Maundy Thursday, to Good Friday and finally to Easter Sunday.
